Get To Know Me
Originally from Lake Jackson, TX and currently live in the Houston area. I graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BS in Psychology and then University of Texas at Austin with my MSSW where I lived for several years. I’ve worked almost a decade in hospice, psychotherapy groups and a level 1 trauma hospital in their Neuro ICU. Healthcare workers and first responders have a very special place in my heart.
When I’m not working, I spend time with my partner, listen to Taylor Swift, and travel as much as I can. You may find me around town at music festivals, Black Swan Yoga or a beer garden. I’ve been told I have a genuine and quirky view on life and have learned how to not take life too seriously. My affinity for helping people came from my grandmother who lived with my family until she passed when I was a teenager. She taught me to be brave, kind and curious.
I am very lucky to be able to work in a profession that helps others in a way that creates positivity and warmth. Houston therapy
